Jezebel is everything our sinful nature desires to be.
• Vengeful. • Spiteful. • Ruthless.
• Prideful. • Vain. • Immodest.
• Justifiably unrighteous.
• Controlling • Feared
👆🏻 Slave to our sin.
Unresolved hurt, frustration, and unforgiveness leads to seeds of bitterness and resentment in our hearts which only breeds toxicity in every facet of our lives bringing out Jezebel. We justify our actions by succumbing to the belief we are victim to the wrong we’ve suffered. A victim never owns their responsibility for change. Viscous cycle. On. Repeat. 💔
👉🏻 On the contrary, Jesus calls us to be meek (not weak), submitted to him, forgiving, righteous, merciful, and compassionate for others. Even those we have been wronged by.
👆🏻 Free from sin.
👉🏻 Ladies, the world seeks Jezebel. Praises Jezebel. Desires Jezebel. Justifies Jezebel. All the while forgetting Jezebel the tragedy of her death is representative of the wages of sin.
👉🏻 Jezebel says, see me. We say, see him. Very different life with a very different outcome. One of reward and the other tragic death.
I figured it out. People love Beth Dutton because she feeds their Jezebel. People love RIP because he fosters Jezebel in her. So calmly I might add.
Ladies 👇🏻
Be careful who you pine after. The flashy lights that scream “see me” are very short lived and underneath is a rocky dark layer of unresolved bitterness from pain not yielded to forgiveness only breeding toxins into every facet of your life until it’s miserable ending.
There is a reason Proverbs 31 praises the woman who walks in the paths of righteousness. 👇🏻
That is where abundance of blessing flows. ♥️
“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
